Fluffy-Cakes / Street

Another photo of a tube sign on the other side of the tracks. It seems this is becoming a bit of a series on its own :P I had this shot in my notepad for a while but I kept on forget to bring the correct lens for it. I was fortunate enough to have someone looking thru the glass at the time of photographing too. This guy was totally asleep to the world, not even the busy and loud traffic near Leicester Square would wake him up. Well, that was until someone poked him to buy some smokes. Just going for a evening stroll around the city on a Friday night. I was just hanging around a bus stop looking for something to photograph when a bus pulled beside me and I saw these two, so I thought why not? I've been drinking here once and all I can say is that it's quite small inside. Somerset House ice skate rink in early December. I really liked how the light poured out of the windows and reflected on the wall. It took a couple of shots to get it dead center, and I was glad to get out of there fast from the overpowering urine smell. This was taken outside my work window one early December sunrise. Another photo walk around London after work. I was hanging about taking photos at the front for about 10min or so, the pub crowd all gave me strange looks. I happened to pass by this place while going for a walk one Friday evening where I waited 20min for 1 or 2 people to walk bye in that exact spot. It's not the first time I've done a photo like this, but I really do like the texture and light play. This was taken just off High Holborn while testing out my new 100-400mm lens. I waited out 30min until the right person walked past, as most of the others were drunken workers on a Friday night. This was taken just off High Holborn while testing out my new 100-400mm lens. I stumbled this as I was walking back from London Bridge to Waterloo. Reflection of Chinatown in a puddle of dirty water. Taken near Tottenham Court Road; this is an alley way where a music store entrance is and the back door for Japenese restaraunt. I waited a while until someone filled the empty frame. I couldn't help but photograph this shot with the people and post lined up exactly as the background. Paul MacKinnon on 500px
