Ahhh... the first of 'many' gondola photos to come.

Every time I went to St Marco square there were always birds bathing themselves in this small fountain. Water comes up from the bottom and they take turns sitting on the 'sweet spot'.

This was a common sale item all over venice. Thou, there were some specialty shops that created better ones then this.

I came across this intersection on 'getting lost in the streets' walk. With so many boats and gondolas I'm quite surprised they don't get annoyed.

These gondolas were docked just outside St Marco square... there were 'soooo' many of them!

Sometimes the gondola trade gets busy and you see a continuous line of gondolas going down the canals.

Most of the gondolas had similar side ornaments as each other, but some did have different 'hood' ornaments.

I borrowed my friends wacom tablet and had a crack at digital art painting. Turned out ok, I think.
