The medieval astronomical clock not only tells the time, but relates the movement of the planets around earth and the sun and moon through the signs of the zodiac. To me, it was just something pretty to photograph.

Yeah, it's that time again. Time to rain the whole period I was in Prague!

Nothing fancy here, just some books from within Pragues castle.

The gardens of Prague castle are some of the best I have seen, especially during autumn, where the trees show an array of colours.

It cost 100 Krowns just to enter this area. I didn't have any cash on me, so I stood at the entrance to sneak off a snap or two.

This is the stairs on which knights would ride up with their horses to make a grand entrances to tournaments held in Vladislav Hall. I know, it would have been better to photograph the steps from the bottom, but there were groups of tourists standing at the top.

One of many statues along the Chales Bridge. This was taken in the early morning when I was hoping to score a nice sunrise. Needless to say, it didn't happen.

This was 'the' only good sunrise the whole time I was in Prague. The only downside was that someone else was photographing in the spot I wanted, so I frantically ran up/down Charles Bridge looking for another vantage point. This was the best I could do. Shame thou, the way the sun shined thru just under the clouds lit them up as if the whole city was on fire.
NOTE: no enhancements were done to the sky, this is actually how it looked!

My last day, and last morning, in Prague. I got up early again to try and catch a good sunrise, and yet again I got nothing but cloud. I found a couple of local fisherman and directed my attention to them instead.

One of the few times that clouds did not cover the entire sky. This is a silhouette of some statues on Charles Bridge. There's actually a few sculpted people in this scene doing something 'godly', but I positioned myself to make it look like one of them is doing the rabbit fingers behind anothers head.

The ossuary is estimated to contain the skeletons of between 40,000 and 70,000 people, many of whom have had their bones artistically arranged to form decorations and furnishings for the chapel.

A bird made out of bones for a 'piratey' feel. Arrrgghh! The picture quality sucks, but I took it for documentary purposes anyway.

I needed a fisheye to get ALL the bones in the shot. Quite a cool look hut, even if it is made out of bones.

One of my favourite shots from Kostnice. Black and White really does give it an eary feel.

This was at the back of the church. I don't know why, but it seems people throw coins on the floor and then light a candle for the dead.

I wish I used my tripod for this, but I felt a bit awkward cracking open a tripod and fiddling around in the middle of a bone church.

I used my 50mm macro to get a close up shot of the coins. I like how it compresses the coins and focuses soley on a small amount.

It looks like people were trying to get the coins in this guys skull, kind of like a side-show alley game. Someone almost won...

It's as if this guy sneezed some pelvic bones.

I love windows lighting up a small area. Exposing only for the window gives a really dark and eary feel. If you look closely enough, you can see skulls hanging on either side of the window.
