The first photo of this series, I had to snap at least 1 before we set off.

I thought this was cool, there's a camera at the tip of the plane that shows you the scenes as you take off and land. While you are in the air you can choose between the front camera and one point down towards the ground.

They had these awesome mood lights that switched on when it got dark.

Airline food isn't bad, it would be a good substitute for my usual bachelor chow.

Vodka and ear plugs; two of he most essential things when sitting next to a mother and 2yr old kid. Whenever the hostess camera around I requested vodka on the rocks, she got the idea after the first 5.

I was seated next to the window and noticed what I thought were cracks, but when I looked closer I found out it was ice forming on the window. I use the macro lens for this shot.

I was fortunate enough to be seated on the wing and managed to get some wicked shots; one thing I love about flying is the deep blue sky and fluffy white clouds.

I wanted to see if I could get some detail from the logo way back in my seat.

Abi Dhabi, in Dubai, airport is very very small compared to Brisbanes. I would say that it's no bigger then Myers in the city (Myer Centre) and only being 2 floors. You would enter from the bottom and go upstairs to wait for your connecting flight. Being so small they would transport you to/from by bus after landing on tarmac.
