I was up at 5:30am a few days after New Years to get this shot, you can still see some barriers to the right of the image.

This is one of my work offices; I've taken this shot a couple of times but only now got the one I want. I was up at 5:30am to get this.

Taken on a beautiful sunny Saturday morning that I almost missed because I went to the wrong train platform. I was lucky enough to get this shot thou, and I was even more lucky to have this person walk thru it! The colour version is below, but I prefer the B&W myself.

Another shot of my work, this time in the wee hours of the morning when no-one is around.

I would have loved to get someone in the shot sitting on the seats, but when it's an early Saturday morning there's not many people around.

I had this idea in my head for quite some time now and it was finally good to get it without any people in it. I really like the juxtoposition in this shot, and believe it or not, this is the true colour of the scene.

This photo was composed of 6 shots where the last one was for a 10second exposure for the fountains. I merged 5 as HDR and layed the last by blending/painting it in.

Ok, so it's not a proper sihouette, I left some detail in the shadows to keep the scene interesting; I didn't want to fully open them up or completely black them.

Tower Bridge sunrise at 6am on a Saturday morning. I had to wait 15min or so until some late night party people moved out of the frame. Unfortunately there weren't any clouds that morning (strange for London), so the top part of the frame seems a bit emtpy. Because of this, I think a wide format without some of the sky would look better (Below)

I took this image after work just as sunset started to kick in. City Hall is the strange building at the end of the steps.

Woke up one weekday morning with my room glowing purple, I looked outside to find this stunning sunrise. I just had to run down and take a photo, even if it was freezing cold.

I took this while standing on the Tower Bridge and not long after taking the first few shots I was bombarded with tourists wanting me to take a photo of them with their camera. I got thru about 5 groups until I had to turn them down because the light was fading and I hadn't got the shots I wanted.

I bought a couple of photography books to learn how to take better photos and to brush up on my post-editing. So I thought I would re-shoot the PWC building and see if I can get a better picture. I think it turned out alright.

The building in the background is the PricewaterHouse Coopers building where I now work. It's as if the bridge leads straight to it.

Walking along the Thames river at Southbank I saw the moon shining so bright yet so low. By the time I got my settings sorted the moon had moved from the tip of the shrine to where it is now, was so fast!

I took this photo on the balcony of my friends place where I'm staying in London. You get some wicked clouds and sunsets during London summer. There are 5 airports around London, and if there is little breeze you get to see some amazing jet streams crossing each other.

I've been hanging onto this for a while, deciding whether or not to post it, but here it is anyway. I was trying to capture the moon and the sunset at the same time, but the passing clouds wouldn't let me get a clear shot.

I decided to try a panoramic shot of Brisbane before I left for overseas. This was taken from Mt Cootha lookout consisting of 5 photos joined together in photoshop to make 1.

The day after the storm produced a lovely sunset looking from my patio.

Early one afternoon a storm came out of nowhere and disappeared just as fast it came. The storm headed to the right and produced a crack in the clouds.

A sunrise photo from the Story Bridge footpath. Unfortunately the fog was too thick for the sun to shine thru properly.

I was hoping to get a silhouette photo of the city as the sun set behind it, but the clouds were brewing and produced this alternate image.
