Fluffy-Cakes / H- Sofia

It was a very cold and windy morning that I got up for this. VERY cold. Doors and knobs... A famous cathedral of some sort. How weird are these. You have to kneel down in order to order anything. I find it interesting to have the stores good showing thru windows and a small booth from which you order from. Weird. I saw these all over the place in Sofia, but it was this one that I found to be in the most interesting place. I'm glad the old lady was walking slowly to give me enough time to compose the shot. I can't remember the full story behind this cave, but I think some dude spent a large part of his life in this little cave of solitude to become a saint (or something like that). Stray dogs don't get much to eat. It was the grates that caught my eye here, they lead into the scene quite well. Another interesting under-passage. I seem to like these, don't I? Bored one night I went for a walk and found this to be somewhat interesting. I did get some strange looks from the very few people that walked passed. I guess that's to be expected at 11pm on a week night. Another under-passage that caught my eye where I put my camera on the floor and waited until someone walked passed. I'm glad I got the feet stride in this shot. I think this place was important. It looks it. Paul MacKinnon on 500px
