There aren't many places that you can have a drink at in Merrakech, so I savoured the beers that I drunk... There aren't many places that you can have a drink at in Merrakech, so I savoured the beers that I drunk... There are far too many sights like this in the streets. The poor even give what they can to these street beggars. I think the back alley food stores produce more smoke than they do food :P When it comes to traffic, pretty much anything goes in Merrakech, even stopping a car with your hand as you scoot in front of it. The buildings at the back of Majorelle. Some people sell whatever they can to survive, even bread on the street like this. This is the camel I road into the Saraha desert. I hope he actually gets looked after well... They were selling these CD's from little horse carriages converted into stores where there's not much room to move. Some stores in the Souks are just big enough for a person to stand in. A local store as you head further out of the city center. I was told off for taking photos of these kids, I guess having a 400mm telephoto lens is not as descrete as I would like it. The local arcade, and as far as I can tell, the ONLY arcade. This donkey was waiting outside our hostel to transport the building equipment thru the narrow alley ways. A very busy intersection just outside the city walls. ..as the title suggests. It's a long way back from within the Saraha. The entry point to one of the most confusing mazes I have ever been in. A common sight thru the souks where children were working hard away at manual labour. Paul MacKinnon on 500px
