Ahhh... the Kindle. How many people have these on the tube? Spotted this above my head while walking down to the stairs. Yeap, these are my feet on an escalator. Exciting stuff! A quick snap from behind never hurt anyone. I stupidly had the camera set on JPG instead of RAW capture after updating the firmware, but at least there was enough information to do some basic conversion. This was taken with the camera lying on the ground. It took a few goes to get the line near-center. I thought the girl checking herself out in the window reflections was kinda interesting. Waiting around for the DLR... Taken at one of Waterloo exits. I really liked the light/shadow effect here. Who hasn't done this before; look over someone else's shoulder and watch them play a game, read their book or just be plain nosey. I've walked past this bar a lot and always thought it would make a good shot with the drinks lit up. I would have really liked to get someone walking up/down the stairs in the background, but here it's always too busy or too quiet for it to happen. Taken at Paddington station; here I was able to stand on the seats and wait for a train load of people to start pouring out. I took this at Waterloo station on a platform overlooking the ramps down to the Waterloo & City line. I was quite amused when I viewed the shot on my PC. Can you find Wally? I saw this guy waiting for his bus along High Holborn. I got a couple of shots in before he spotted me. I was originally going here to shoot the inside of the station but left un-inspired, however after hanging around the front for a while I discovered a new composition. I've always wanted to capture this shot on a beautiful sunny work morning. It's not exactly how I invisioned, so I'll have to keep trying till I get it right. This will do for now... I love this sign, mainly for what is written underneath it when viewed large. The colour version is better thou. I'm yet to meet someone that actually requires one of these seats... Taken the on the Waterloo & City tube line; one guy knew I was up to something... Going for a different view, looking down on people. This girl was the last to walk past, so I timed it just right.
