Here are a couple of books that I've read which have really helped me gain more info and insight into digital photography; without them I wouldn't have progressed this far. |

 |
Mastering Digital Flash Photography
- Chris George |
 |
As the name states, this book is a guide for using your camera flash. Although some of the photos are uninspiring, I did find it to be very informative and helpful in understanding my on-camera and off-camera flash. |

The Photographers Guide to Filters
- Lee Frost |
 |
Obviously as the title suggests this book is all about filters. This book focuses on film photography, so I found there were only a few sections which correspond with digital. However, I still found it interesting to understand how filters work, which helps me understand how photoshop photo filters work. |

This book was a great follow up from 'Adobe Photoshop CS3 for Photographers', I learnt a lot and find myself referring back to it from time to time. It had some great tips to help with problems that you might encounter and some really good artistic ideas too. |

Another masterpiece by Michael Freeman. Although the book is a few years old now, it still has a lot of relevant information and tips on how to capture the perfect light. Highly rated. |

This book was a great read; it covered all the aspects of trying to get the 'perfect' exposure by understanding digital SLR's and their settings/technology. Michael touches on the zone system and implements his own version for the modern digital SLR. |

Everything and anything that you want to, and should know about composing the perfect photograph. This one of the best books I have ever read; very well written and the pictures are stunning. |

The Digital Photography Book
- Scott Kelby |

This was the first photography book I bought, basically because it had big letters and easy to read. It actually has some really good quick tips for certain situations, well worth it. |

Digital Photography Masterclass

A beautifully well laid out book, although not all the information was new to me, I still found the images and teachings inspiring. I especially loved the last section where Tom interviews a people who are top of the game in their style of photography. |
