Fluffy-Cakes

Another shot from Liverpool St station taken from above. Taken on a Friday afternoon just outside Liverpool St station, this guy was rockin' it with some tunes on his laptop and full drum kit. It wasn't until I reviewed the photo at home did I realise the nice surprise in the middle of the photo. I originally took a photo like this for my Challenge 30, but I didn't think it was composed well enough and had another crack at it. One of my Challenge 30 photos ported to The Daily Grind. Here I was just waiting for the bus back to Waterloo station. This guy was having a snooze in the tunnels of Charing Cross station. I spotted this girl waiting for the train at Waterloo as I was waiting for the train to leave. She had been reading the whole time and only turned her head as I went to take a photo. This was taken from the bathroom window of my girlfriends flat. The girl spotted me and became uncomfortable, leaving soon afterwards. Ah well, even if she thought I was a perv, it was worth it. Nothing fancy here, I just liked the light falling onto the concrete wall and chain-like fence in the background. I saw this opportunity as I was waiting for the tube at Liverpool St station, but waited for a train with a good amount of people standing in the picture. A sneaky shot of the Big Issue vendor at Liverpool St station. It's rare that you see the 'Mind The Gap' signs actually line up with a door, so I felt it was a worthy shot of the famous repeating reminders. I was just hanging around a bus stop looking for something to photograph when a bus pulled beside me and I saw these two, so I thought why not? Always have your camera with you, even when you think you've got nothing to photograph, because some opportunities appear at the most unexpected time. This is a bar in Covent Garden, thou it's not nearly as busy as it usually is. This guy was totally asleep to the world, not even the busy and loud traffic near Leicester Square would wake him up. Well, that was until someone poked him to buy some smokes. Another photo of a tube sign on the other side of the tracks. It seems this is becoming a bit of a series on its own :P Originally I wanted to get a shot like this at Bank tube station, but when I stumbled at this lift in Covent Garden station I just had to take a shot. Well, it actually took me a couple of shots, and a couple of climbs back up the stairs to get in the busy lift again as it was not always easy to assure yourself a spot at the very center of the lift in the very back row. I just got off the train and was looking at a poster on the wall as my train left. As I finished reading the poster another train arrived and I turned around to find this in front of me. I thought it was worth a shot. An image I've had in my mind for a while now and have been debating whether to shoot it with a wide angle or fish eye, but in the end shot it with a wide angle because I wanted to keep the lines straight.
